A winter vacation in the Ötztal has many facets. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy a total of 350 kilometers of slopes in 6 ski areas in the valley. Ski tourers explore the regions off the slopes, while cross-country skiers can enjoy the 143 kilometers of groomed trails. The Ötztal winter is also beautiful on foot. From the valley entrance to the valley head, there are many sunny winter hiking trails for a relaxed exploration of nature. There's action on the 15 toboggan runs throughout the Ötztal. The toboggan run in Sölden is even one of the longest in Austria.

Summer in Ötztal

A summer vacation in the Ötztal is varied. Explore nature on foot, by bike or on horseback. There are hikes in all degrees of difficulty: From the relaxed hike to the ambitious mountain tour, everything is there. The numerous three-thousand-meter peaks of the Ötztal Alps are beautiful panoramic mountains and great touring destinations. An Eldorado for all downhillers and bike specialists is the Bike Republic in Sölden. If you prefer a more leisurely ride, you will find happiness on the Ötztal bike path, which leads from the entrance of the valley to Sölden. You can also discover the Ötztal on horseback.
